Rental Telescopes

The OC RASC has a telescope rental program making good quality telescopes and accessories available for rent by members.

 We have available for rent:

• 4.5" reflector on tripod for $10.00 per month
• 6” Dobsonian for $10.00 per month
• 8" Dobsonian for $5.00 per week
• 10" Dobsonian for $10.00 per week
• 40mm Personal Solar Telescope $5.00 per week

  The scopes are available to be rented by any OC RASC member. Rented telescopes may be kept by the renter until someone else asks for that size aperture, at which point it must be turned over to the next observer when the current rental period ends. Members are responsible for the repair of any damage to the rental scopes while in their possession. The money raised by renting the scopes will go towards the maintenance and improvement of the rental equipment. For further information please contact Guy Mackie.
